Forlì, November 4, 2019 – Ferretti Group, leader on the Chinese market for the number of boats sold, will participate from November 5 to November 10 at the China International Import Expo, where the boat "Model 195" will also be on display, specifically developed for the Asian professional market by the FSD division - Ferretti Security Division, dedicated to the Security sector.
The fair, now at its second edition and promoted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Municipality of Shanghai, is the first in China exclusively dedicated to the import of products and services. It will host foreign companies interested in presenting their products and services in China and it intends to provide new business opportunities to countries around the world, strengthening cooperation and promoting the development of the global economy.

Absolute newness for the Chinese market, "Model 195" is a professional boat for rescue missions, research and maritime surveillance. With a reinforced VTR hull, the boat can make rapid movements - the speed is 50 knots - and arrive in time in the areas of interest, with an important autonomy of patrolling (500 NM).
China is one of the fastest growing countries in the shipbuilding sector, with broad market prospects for Ferretti Group, whose largest international shareholder is Weichai Group, China's leading industrial group. FSD's objective in China, indeed, is to offer patrol boats for civil use, increasingly specialized and technologically advanced boats used for search and rescue operations, land and coastal control.

The Ferretti Group Business Unit dedicated to Safety is indeed carrying out important investments in terms of design and Research & Development, with the creation of high-performance boats in terms of speed, strength and governability, equipped with technologically advanced solutions.

The top management of the Group will be present at the China International Import Expo: Chairman Tan Xuguang, President Xinyu Xu, CEO lawyer Alberto Galassi. For FSD-Ferretti Security Division Giuliano Felten, Division Director, and Andrea Ameli, Operations Director, will be attending.
